Who is Ashley?
Ashley Pyle is a singer-songwriter, transplanted from the PNW to the midwest, ready and excited to spread her light as far as it will reach. Using snapshots of moments in her life, steeped in the mundane and the extreme, she curates stories to resonate with her listeners and let them know they’re not alone. Time spent with Ashley Pyle will yield a dichotomy of community- an intimate experience of widespread outreach.
Origin
At age 5, Ashley went to her mother and asked to play the guitar- so her mother signed her up for piano lessons. Next, the flute, and a few other orchestral instruments, and eventually the guitar. Over her adolescent years, she picked up and learned many more instruments, musical genres, and various ways to communicate every concept and conflict in her head and heart. As of this moment in time, she has accumulated over three hours of original music and is still writing for herself and others every day.
From There to Here- and Beyond
Ashley has graced venues and stages to showcase her repertoire in multiple different states, spanning from Alaska to Washington, Idaho, Montana, Michigan, Nashville, TN, and recently, Austin, TX. Some notable performance spaces include Best Fest in the Northwest (2018), Spokane's Pig Out in the Park (2019), Singers in the Round's SXSW Send Off Show (2022), and the Songwriter Beats Showcase at SXSW (2023). With a fervent desire to travel further around the country and share her music with anyone who many need to hear it and anyone else along the way, Ashley is always ready to bolster her future with more musical opportunities- and is looking forward to each one with optimism and excitement.
